Tasks:

• Review and process medical claims for accuracy and completeness
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
• Submit claims to insurance companies and follow up on claim status
• Resolve billing discrepancies and denials
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and patients to ensure timely payments
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical billing codes and regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Medical Billing Specialist or similar role
• Familiarity with medical billing software and coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS)
• Attention to detail and accuracy in claims processing
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of medical insurance policies and procedures
